About

Kristi Bartlett is an Assistant Professor in the Product Design Department in the College of Design at the University of Kentucky. Prior to joining UK, Kristi obtained a PhD in Technology from Purdue University. She also received an MS in Industrial Design from the University of Houston and a BA in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Rice University. Kristi has provided design consulting for multiple healthcare startup companies and serves as the director of product development at ZIBRIO, the Balance Company, where she designs physical and digital products for fall prevention in aging. She has two current areas of research focus: design education, and equitable approaches to the design of medical technology.
